During the 2000s, Rean Booysen secured the opportunity to develop the highly successful Silver Lakes Golf Estate. This development encompassed the planning and layout of erven around the existing golf course, the installation of sewer and stormwater systems, electrical networks and roadways for the entire township. The success of the Silver Lakes Golf Estate resulted in the further successful development of the adjacent townships namely Silver Willows, Silver Lakes Nature Area and the Six Fountains development. A total of approximately 1 100 stands were developed in the area during the successful completion of these projects.
